Thanking consumers through the "Lucky Bill" program
The organizing committee has selected 164 consumers to win lucky bills. The results of the drawing were announced on the information channels of Ho Chi Minh City Tax. In which, the first prize is worth 50 million VND; the second prize is worth 20 million VND/prize; the third prize is worth 10 million VND/prize.
Ho Chi Minh City Tax will pay the prize within 30 days by bank transfer.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Deputy Head of Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department - said that the implementation of electronic invoices has helped reduce costs and administrative procedures for taxpayers.
Instead of spending a lot of money on printing, storing and preserving invoices, now all invoices are safely stored on the information technology system.
Taxpayers also save time, effort, and resources compared to before because with just an Internet system, they can create invoices, send invoices to buyers, and cut down on some procedures related to registration and use of invoices. Taxpayers can also focus more on production and business activities.
Mr. Dung said that implementing the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Finance , the Tax Department and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City Tax continues to promote the deployment of electronic invoices with codes generated from cash registers at retail establishments directly to consumers. Special attention is paid to households and individuals doing business in the 60-day peak campaign to eliminate lump-sum tax.
However, the success of this campaign depends not only on the efforts of tax authorities or the compliance of sellers, but also on the contributions of consumers themselves.
The "Lucky Bill" program is to thank the consumers themselves.
Electronic invoices with codes are a legal "shield" to protect consumers.

"Through the program, it will motivate buyers to form the habit of asking sellers to issue electronic invoices immediately after each transaction. Electronic invoices with tax authority codes are not only documents confirming payment, but also a legal "shield" to protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
When owning an invoice, consumers have full grounds to request warranty, exchange or return goods, and more importantly, limit risks and protect themselves from the law when disputes arise. Electronic invoices with tax authority codes are also prize tickets in Lucky Invoice programs," Mr. Dung emphasized.
According to Mr. Dung, when proactively receiving invoices, consumers are directly participating in the State's tax management, helping tax authorities closely monitor actual revenue, prevent budget losses, and ensure social justice. Thereby contributing to collecting the correct and sufficient state budget, having more resources to invest in infrastructure development, social security, and improving the general quality of life.
