Da Nang residents and tourists eagerly await the "Creative Art" fireworks night

After the explosive opening night, the city by the Han River is once again bustling with anticipation for the second competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival – DIFF 2025, taking place on the evening of June 7. With the theme “Creative Art”, the competition night promises to bring a sublime stage of light, music and bold ideas.

The highlight of the second night was the competition between Z121 Vina Pyrotech, the second representative of Vietnam, and the veteran fireworks team Surex Firma Rodzinna from Poland. One side was an “unknown” participating for the first time, carrying the aspiration to reach out to the world . The other side was an experienced “old man”, having conquered a series of international fireworks stages. This confrontation is expected to create a satisfying, emotional competition in this year’s DIFF season.

Z121 Vina Pyrotech, also known as Chemical Company 21, under the General Department of Defense Industry - Ministry of Defense , is a veteran name in the field of fireworks production in Vietnam. With more than 50 years of experience and decades of accompanying important events and national ceremonies, for the first time the team entered the international fireworks arena with a modern and creative performance style.

From the first series of fireworks, the Z121 Vina Pyrotech team is expected to demonstrate its world-class techniques, unique Vietnamese fireworks display style, and portray the image of the country steadily moving forward, reaching regional and world levels.

Meanwhile, the representative from Poland, Surex Firma Rodzinna, is one of the leading names in the European fireworks industry. With more than 30 years of experience and a journey to compete in more than 50 international competitions, the team has won many prestigious awards at famous fireworks festivals in China, Korea, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Croatia, etc. At DIFF 2023, Surex was honored as the "Most Creative Fireworks Team", once again affirming its class on the global stage.

What makes Surex's performances special is not only their daring and skillful fireworks techniques, but also their ability to tell stories with light and music. Returning to DIFF 2025, the Polish team brought the performance "Dragon Love", with European colors and Eastern mythological inspiration.

The love story that transcends all boundaries between the fire dragon Luna and the water dragon Draco, conveying the message of connection between people, between cultures and the intersection of tradition and modernity, is sure to attract audiences of all ages.

In addition to the eye-catching fireworks displays from the two teams, locals and visitors will be immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the creative music festival taking place at the Ngu Hanh Son stage by the Han River. The music night will feature musician and singer Tang Duy Tan, singer Muoi, violinist Trinh Minh Hien and many other special performances.

The “Creative Art” competition night brings a unique AR technology experience on paper tickets. In particular, the audience has the opportunity to explore Sky AR, an outdoor augmented reality space with an impressive display scale of up to 600,000m² and 10 million pixels, opening up a vibrant creative world in the heart of the poetic Han River.

Ms. Thanh, a tourist from Nghe An, shared: “At first, I only planned to watch the opening night, but it was so good that I asked my husband to buy tickets for the second night. The second competition night (June 7) and the following competition nights including Night 3 (June 14): Canada - China; Night 4 (June 21): Portugal - England; Night 5 (June 28): Korea - Italy will be broadcast live on Da Nang Radio and Television - DRT from 8:10 p.m. The final night (July 12) will be broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnam Television.
