Brazilian model Lygia Fazio died due to her butt
International media reported that famous Brazilian model Lygia Fazio has just passed away at the age of 40 due to complications after cosmetic surgery. Accordingly, model Lygia Fazio had industrial silicone and PMMA injected into her buttocks 3 years ago at an underground beauty facility. After the cosmetic surgery, these substances spread throughout her body causing an infection that forced her to be hospitalized for treatment.
Although the model tried to eliminate all these substances from her body, it was not completely effective. She was hospitalized for 3 weeks before passing away.
This is not the first time she has been hospitalized to deal with post-operative complications. In 2022, she was hospitalized for 100 days to remove silicone from her body.
She had silicone removed from her body many times but still could not survive.
In a previous interview, the Brazilian model revealed: "Since becoming a model, everyone wants to have a fuller butt. And what happened was, I looked at myself in the mirror, I had a small butt and I wanted to improve it."
However, her boyfriend at the time was not satisfied with the results and asked her to do more to get the most perfect butt. As a result, Lygia Fazio had to pay the price for her lack of consideration for beauty.
Polymethylmethacrylate, or PMMA (a clear, flexible plastic), was the substance that killed Lygia Fazio. It is a substance that must be treated by a specialist and used in small doses. The model’s family announced her passing but asked that people not dissect the cause of her death too deeply.
