At the time of approaching the patient, it was noted that the patient was in a deep coma, blood pressure was being maintained with 2 very high doses of vasopressors, respiratory failure with optimal mechanical ventilation. The SpO2 index of the extremities was only at 70 - 75% with 100% inspired oxygen.
Assessing the patient's condition as being too severe, doctors from the two hospitals coordinated to quickly consult and deploy ECMO techniques for the patient on the spot. After ECMO intervention, the patient's vital signs were controlled and he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit, Military Hospital 175 for further treatment.

After 6 days of treatment, the patient's cardiovascular function and organ dysfunction improved, ECMO was discontinued and post-resuscitation care continued. The patient fully recovered and was discharged on July 1, after 18 days of treatment.
