Speaking with Van Hoa on the evening of January 12, after the meeting ended, Dr. Hoang Ngoc Long, Acting Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, said: "This afternoon, January 12, the Board of Directors received a complaint from Luu Thien Huong. Before that, we also learned about this incident through musician Luu Thien Huong's personal page... Although the school was organizing exams at this time, and all faculties were busy, but realizing the importance of the incident, the Board of Directors immediately convened a meeting with quite a full range of related members, including the Board of Directors, Party Committee, People's Inspectorate, School Inspectorate, Dean of Faculty, representative of the personnel organization department... After investigating the incident, we found that the behavior of lecturer Minh Huyen was wrong, lacking the standards of a teacher. Lecturer Minh Huyen herself also admitted that her behavior was wrong."

The Board of Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music said that the handling of violating lecturers will be based on the previously issued Code of Conduct in Schools, depending on the severity of the violation, it will be considered for handling in accordance with regulations. Regarding the lecturer's violation, the meeting agreed on the form of handling the level of reprimand," the Conservatory of Music leader informed.

Ms. Nguyen My Hanh, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, added that the school plans to invite lecturer Minh Huyen and musician Luu Thien Huong to work more specifically by early next week, and there will be a mediation session to resolve the problem together, to show understanding, and to avoid unpleasant incidents like the recent ones.

It is known that Luu Thien Huong is a guest lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

Regarding the incident, a musician expressed that in professional work, sometimes there are disagreements or issues of misunderstanding. The most important thing is to know how to behave, then everything will be easier and better.

“I think that lecturer Minh Huyen, in a moment of anger, did not control her behavior, and had an inappropriate attitude and action. When the clip went viral, everyone clearly saw that this lecturer was wrong… However, the fact that musician Luu Thien Huong posted it on social media like that, I think that behavior was also inappropriate, maybe both sides were so angry that they lost their minds. Meanwhile, both are knowledgeable people, public figures, especially teachers, so they should have known how to restrain themselves, because doing that is not good at all,” he said.

In recent days, on her personal page, Luu Thien Huong posted a number of articles related to lecturer Minh Huyen. On the morning of January 12, in addition to the article, she also posted a short clip denouncing lecturer Huyen's behavior.

According to Luu Thien Huong, lecturer Minh Huyen is said to have slandered her colleague, slandered the student for using a computer to process the sound and output it to a wave file (a format of an audio file). However, because lecturer Minh Huyen did not understand the explanation, her colleague asked her to call the technical department to check, to explain more about the expertise, but this lecturer did not agree. When her colleague saw her making insulting and unfounded statements, he used his phone to record it to protect himself, Ms. Huyen immediately threw the phone at her colleague...

Musician Luu Thien Huong believes that the actions of the above lecturer are seriously violatingeducational ethics, so she reported the incident to the Board of Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. At the same time, according to her sharing, the female musician has asked to stop teaching at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.
