This is the 11th time the General Department of Market Management has opened a showroom to help visitors learn about products and distinguish between genuine and fake goods on the market.
The showroom has over 300 products from many brands from Japan such as: Panasonic, Casio, ASICS, Uniqlo, Meiji, Transino, Honda, Yamaha..., typically: Panasonic electric kettle; Casio computers, watches; Uniqlo sun protection shirts, socks; Trasino cosmetics; Honda and Yamaha motorbike accessories; Elovi milk and drinks; ASICS's ONITSUKA TIGER MEXICO 66 sports shoes...
In addition, products using Japanese technology, manufactured in Vietnam such as Ajinomoto, Hao Hao... are also displayed and introduced, helping visitors learn and identify the products.
At the showroom, experts from the General Department of Market Management coordinated with representatives of businesses to directly introduce brands originating from Japan, providing characteristics to help consumers compare and identify to distinguish between genuine and fake goods.
According to Mr. Tran Huu Linh, Director General of the General Department of Market Management, this is the first time the General Department has had an exhibition with a special theme of Japanese brands. Currently, the demand of Vietnamese people for Japanese brands is very high, along with that, there is also a situation of commercial fraud against these brands. Therefore, opening the showroom will help people equip themselves with knowledge in shopping, avoiding risks in buying and selling goods.
Not stopping at “Made in Japan” products, in the coming time, the General Department of Market Management will continue to expand the topics of identifying and distinguishing products for goods originating from many different countries to serve the safe and effective shopping needs of consumers.
The exhibition “Identifying genuine and fake Made in Japan products” is open to visitors for free information from March 15 to March 19, 2024. Opening hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily./.
