Barca have endured a difficult pre-season, from Ter Stegen's mutiny to problems registering new players.

“I am not happy with the current situation, but I trust the club,” Flick said about the slow player registration process, due to financial regulations.

The registration process for Joan Garcia was carried out in the middle of the week, after Ter Stegen took the initiative to "cool down" the war with the club.

However, as of Friday (August 15), La Liga has yet to confirm the registration. Barca's current goalkeeper list only includes Ter Stegen - who is injured, and Inaki Pena, who is not in Flick's plans.

In response, president Joan Laporta confidently said: "I am almost certain that in the next match, if Hansi wants, Joan Garcia and Rashford will be able to play."

Joan Garcia was registered through Ter Stegen's salary. Meanwhile, Laporta personally guaranteed 7 million euros to register Rashford and other cases.

With registration no longer an obstacle, Barca are looking forward to a bright start against Mallorca – a team that said goodbye to many key players in the summer.

Last season, Barca won 5-1 at Mallorca. It was a victory that relieved the dark period of November, when they lost 4 and drew 2 of 7 matches at the end of 2024.

Flick's plan is to make a perfect start to calculate the way forward: win 33 out of a possible 36 points in the first 12 games, just like last season.

Barca are ready to throw a goal party, while fans eagerly await the official debut of Lamine Yamal with the iconic number 10 shirt.

With the Yamal dance and Flick's football philosophy, Barca can absolutely win big against Mallorca.
