In recent times, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has become a widespread movement with strong influence in Thai Nguyen province. Specific actions and practical work... have been widely replicated in the community.

PRACTICAL THINGS TO DO

Mr. Ngo Van Tho in Na Phac commune works as a driver. While transporting passengers to the highlands, he witnessed the difficulties, hardships, and deprivation of the children there. From the desire to help the children as much as possible, he came up with the idea and connected, calling on philanthropists to contribute. From September 2023 to now, Mr. Tho has driven 10 charity trips, delivering about 60 tons of clothes and items to people and children in difficult circumstances. In addition, he called for, donated, and supported nearly 20 million VND in cash to support three families affected by natural disasters and in difficult circumstances. On the trips, he carried the goods himself, drove himself, and paid for the gas and oil himself. He shared: "Seeing the children happily receiving clothes and necessities, I have more motivation to do charity work...".

Many creative models and approaches have emerged from the movement of learning and following Uncle Ho in 37 northern communes of Thai Nguyen province. The “Savings Tube” model of the women of the Provincial Military Command; the “Savings Rice Jar” movement of the Women’s Union of Ba Be commune… have contributed to taking care of people’s lives. Agencies and units have implemented hundreds of meaningful projects and tasks such as building houses of gratitude, roads, bridges, new classrooms… in disadvantaged areas.

In 55 southern communes of the province, from 2016 to present, the Youth Union has organized for union members, youth and students to voluntarily donate more than 2,680 units of blood; organized medical examinations, health consultations, and provided free medicine to more than 12,000 policy families, meritorious people, the elderly and children in difficult circumstances. Youth in the communes contributed their efforts and money to build 5,795 works and new rural construction works with a value of nearly 18 billion VND. The communes are maintaining and consolidating 410 youth economic development models with the participation of more than 3,500 union members and youth.

Many collectives and individuals with good practices were born, bringing positive changes in many fields, such as: Phu Luong Agricultural Cooperative; Women actively studying, working, creating, building happy families; "3 promote, 5 oppose" of the Military Command; Bamboo savings tubes; Charity rice jars... Besides, there are typical individuals, such as: Mr. Sung Van Sinh, H'Mong ethnic group in Lan Quan hamlet, Tan Long commune, actively preserving H'Mong panpipe culture; Mr. Vu Ngoc Bao, Cam Gia ward, has outstanding achievements in donating land to build new rural roads...

Another highlight is the implementation of the responsibility of setting an example by cadres and party members. Many key cadres have proactively self-reflected, self-corrected, promoted a sense of responsibility, matched words with actions, and been decisive in action. The Provincial Party Executive Committee has developed a plan to follow Uncle Ho's example, pointed out breakthrough contents, and assigned specific responsibilities. In many Party cells and Party committees, studying and following Uncle Ho's example has become a regular content in periodic activities.

REPLICATING IN THE NEW CONTEXT

According to the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, since Directive No. 05-CT/TW was issued, the province has issued many plans and specific implementation instructions. Many directive documents have been consistent, linking the content of studying and following Uncle Ho with Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII), Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW and resolutions and directives of the Party. In particular, the study and dissemination of annual topics have been carried out seriously, innovatively and with quality. From 2021 to 2024, Bac Kan province (old) has organized eight conferences to disseminate and disseminate the full-term and annual topics, attracting the participation of more than 80,000 cadres, party members and people.

These figures affirm the determination of the Party Committee, government and people of Thai Nguyen province (new) in turning Uncle Ho's teachings into concrete actions. After each study session, Party committees, Party cells, agencies and units all develop implementation plans suitable to the actual situation.

Learning, following and following Uncle Ho's example is not only limited to the internal scope but also spreads strongly to the community. From 2016 to now, in 37 northern communes, there are tens of thousands of specific collective jobs and more than 300,000 individual jobs registered to follow Uncle Ho. On average, each year, tens of thousands of practical jobs of cadres, party members, association members and union members are registered, contributing to solving many pressing problems of the people: The spirit and service attitude of civil servants, the quality of administrative reform, problems related to land, forest management, urban areas... are gradually resolved, strengthening the people's trust.

In 55 southern communes, the implementation of Directive No. 05 has contributed to creating consensus, trust, excitement, unity of will and action among cadres, party members and people. Studying and following Uncle Ho is associated with specific movements, such as: Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure and practicing thrift and fighting waste; cadres, civil servants and public employees competing to implement office culture; promoting the digital transformation program...

Over the past 10 years, Thai Nguyen province has had more than 2,200 collectives and individuals recognized and rewarded; many collectives and individuals have been recognized by the Central Government. These results demonstrate the spirit of solidarity and determination of the new Thai Nguyen in implementing Directive No. 05. Studying and following Uncle Ho has become a driving force, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the locality.

From July 1, Thai Nguyen province (new) officially operated the two-level local government model. The province determined to continue promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW and the socio-economic development tasks of the province. Party committees, party organizations, cadres and party members continue to promote the spirit of setting an example and the responsibility of leaders. The province directed to pay attention to the registration of leaders, managers, heads of party committees, agencies and units. In particular, party committees, collectives and individuals pay attention to selecting important and necessary tasks, outstanding and urgent issues that cadres, party members and people are interested in to focus on handling and resolving effectively.

In the new Thai Nguyen province, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has become a voluntary and regular activity of the Party organization, government, unions, each cadre, Party member and people, contributing to the successful implementation of the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels. In the new context, new space, new ways of doing things and new opportunities after the merger into the new Thai Nguyen province, consolidating and promoting the results achieved in implementing Directive No. 05 will make an important contribution to the development of the locality.
