VTC NewsVTC News08/11/2024

Earlier this week, Bamboo Airways announced that it had officially welcomed another narrow-body A320 aircraft to its fleet. After landing at Noi Bai, the aircraft, numbered JU-1410, was inspected and given its livery, preparing for commercial operation.

After this aircraft, the general director of Bamboo Airways said that the airline still wants to receive more aircraft to continue to increase its operating capacity before the new year of At Ty. The airline is actively working with partners and authorities to implement related tasks.

Along with leasing more aircraft, a representative of Bamboo Airways said that the airline will continue to increase the frequency and resume regular domestic and international flights. Accordingly, Bamboo Airways will resume the routes Ho Chi Minh City - Bangkok (from November 26, 2024), Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc (from December 24, 2024) with a frequency of 1 round trip/day/route.

Along with that, Bamboo Airways plans to increase the frequency of flights to and from Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh) connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and at the same time research international charter flights to Binh Dinh, in order to attract more domestic and foreign tourists to this locality.

Binh Dinh has always been a strategic destination in Bamboo Airways' flight network. The airline is the pioneer in operating international flights to Phu Cat airport. At the same time, Bamboo Airways also operated the largest flight network connecting Binh Dinh, with 7 routes to/from Quy Nhon, contributing to the development of local tourism and connectivity.

In recent years, Binh Dinh has gone from a little-known locality to a destination highly appreciated by many newspapers, magazines, and domestic and foreign tourists . In 2024, Quy Nhon city received the "ASEAN Clean Tourist City 2024" award for the second time. In the first 9 months of this year alone, the province's tourism revenue is estimated at VND812.7 billion, an increase of over 41% over the same period last year.

In 2025, Binh Dinh will pay special attention to forming a series of events and festivals to create unique and distinct tourism products of national and international stature to increase the experience and attraction for tourists to the province.

At a recent meeting between Bamboo Airways leaders and Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, the provincial delegation shared the orientation of tourism development associated with aviation in 2025. Binh Dinh Provincial representative proposed that Bamboo Airways coordinate to implement solutions such as deploying night flights with preferential product packages, researching and developing new routes to Binh Dinh...

Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors accepted the comments and said that the airline will promote cooperation with local tourism, accommodation and travel businesses and develop more domestic and international flight products to attract tourists to Binh Dinh.
