According to the forecast of Lao Cai Province's Hydrometeorological Station, due to the influence of the high-altitude wind convergence zone, the weather in the province will be cloudy, with scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms, and locally heavy rain. During the day, it will be sunny, with some areas in low-lying areas being extremely hot. In the high mountains, it will be cold at night and in the morning.

According to the forecast, from the night of August 4, thunderstorms will appear in some localities in the province, accompanied by extreme phenomena such as hail, tornadoes, strong winds and lightning.
