Many places are "full"

The 5-day April 30 and May 1 holidays are a good time for families to have an enjoyable vacation. At this time, many tourist destinations are full of guests booking accommodation and entertainment services. According to records, coastal tourist areas in the North and Central regions, only about 2-4 hours away from Hanoi such as: Ha Long (Quang Ninh), Cat Ba (Hai Phong), Sam Son, Hai Tien (Thanh Hoa), Nghe An ... are highly chosen by guests during the holidays. The room booking situation at these tourist destinations has increased, many places are "full" of rooms.

Typically, in Ha Long (Quang Ninh), many 3-5 star hotels were fully booked for all 4 consecutive days of the holiday. Homestay business activities were also bustling. Ms. Hoang Thu Hien, owner of a homestay in Ha Long, said that the number of guests renting during the April 30 holiday was still very high, as soon as a guest canceled their booking, another guest immediately asked to rent, which showed that the demand of guests booking services close to the holiday was still high.

According to booking data on several platforms such as Mustgo and Booking.com, Sa Pa is one of the most popular destinations in the North. 3-star hotels have reached an occupancy rate of about 80%. Meanwhile, 4-5 star hotels are almost fully booked with an occupancy rate of 85-90% from April 30 to May 2.

In Ha Giang, it is expected that this year's holiday will attract about 142,800 visitors, with total revenue reaching over 354 billion VND. This year, the number of visitors is forecast to continue to increase sharply, especially concentrated at famous landmarks such as Lung Cu Flagpole, Dong Van Ancient Town, Ma Pi Leng Pass, the poetic Nho Que River or Sung La Valley to see "Pao's house". It is noted that at some large hotels in Ha Giang, the number of guests booking rooms is almost fully booked very early.

In Sam Son (Thanh Hoa) this year, it is predicted that there will not be a shortage of rooms like last year due to the lower number of guests booking, currently only reaching about 60% - 70%. The number of guests booking rooms is mainly concentrated in hotels and motels near the beach. Meanwhile, some resorts around Hanoi such as resorts, homestays in Soc Son, Ba Vi or some accommodations in Hoa Binh, Ninh Binh, Tam Dao (Vinh Phuc) ... have been fully booked since last month.

On this occasion, many localities have prepared attractive products and services, including many new products.

This year's April 30 and May 1 holidays are expected to see a large number of visitors at many tourist areas and destinations. To ensure the safety of tourists, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has issued a document to local tourism management agencies on preparing conditions to serve tourists during the April 30 and May 1 holidays and the peak summer tourism season in 2025.
