Binh Duong: Deploying the plan to develop the Tourism System in the Provincial Planning

Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 2562/KH-UBND on implementing the Tourism System Development Plan in Binh Duong Provincial Planning and Tourism System Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2045. Accordingly, the plan has set specific goals: In 2025, the total number of tourists will reach 3,500,000, of which international visitors will reach 370,000 and domestic visitors will reach 3,130,000; total revenue from tourists will reach about 2,500 billion VND; tourism workers will attract about 17,800 direct workers, of which 60% have been trained; accommodation facilities will reach about 14,800 rooms.

By 2030, the total number of tourists will reach 6,000,000, of which 500,000 will be international visitors and 5,500,000 will be domestic visitors; total revenue from tourists will reach about 4,900 billion VND; the tourism industry will attract about 30,500 direct workers, of which 65% will be trained; accommodation facilities will reach about 25,400 rooms. By 2050, the total number of tourists will reach 19,385,000, of which 1,762,000 will be international visitors and 17,623,000 will be domestic visitors; total revenue from tourists will reach about 77,200 billion VND; the tourism industry will attract about 106,900 direct workers, of which over 70% will be trained; Accommodation facilities approximately 89,100 rooms.

To achieve the set goals, the plan focuses on solutions such as: Organizing tourism management activities; linking and cooperating in tourism development; investing in attracting resources; developing products; developing markets, promoting and advertising tourism; developing tourism human resources; applying science and technology ; protecting tourism resources and environment. Planning and attracting investment in branded tourist areas and destinations, creating competitiveness for tourism in Binh Duong province, such as: Tourist areas in Dau Tieng lake area; eco-tourism area along Saigon river; cultural and historical urban experience tourist destination of Thu Dau Mot; creative tourism destination of Binh Duong new city - Creative City; tourist destination of Bach Dang islet...
