After nearly two decades of organization, this year's Dieu Con Mai bears the mark of a generational transition, when new faces sing and play instruments alongside established artists. Young pianist Luong Khanh Nhi returns from the US to perform the piece Song Lo with the Sun Symphony Orchestra.
She shared that this is both an honor and a big challenge: “Young artists not only continue the tradition but also have to innovate and spread it more widely. Participating in What Remains Forever is an opportunity to learn, share and contribute their voice to the flow of national music .”
Editor-in-Chief of Vietnamnet Newspaper Nguyen Van Ba shared with the press on the afternoon of August 25, in Hanoi , that each season of Dieu Con Mai is a big challenge for the organizers: “We always aim to preserve the core values of the program, a place to honor classic Vietnamese music works, performed by passionate and responsible artists. At the same time, Dieu Con Mai also needs a new breath, so that the audience not only listens to familiar songs but also feels the depth of history and the sparkle of emotions through the language of symphonic music”.

In addition to the young artists, the program also welcomed the return of diva Hong Nhung, divo Tung Duong and Meritorious Artist Lan Anh. Singer Tung Duong emphasized: "Singing on Independence Day September 2 is not just simply singing but also in the spirit of a citizen who wants to contribute to the country."
Musician Tran Manh Hung shared, Dieu con mai carries the mission of honoring the value of Vietnamese music in the academic language of a symphony orchestra. The music will tell the historical story in a luxurious, soft style but still covering important milestones. Some notable new works include Tien Quan Ca in the form of a piano concerto, or Huong ve Ha Noi through the cello of a young artist studying abroad in the US.
Led by Music Director Tran Manh Hung and Conductor Olivier Ochanine, the Concert " What Remains Forever 2025" will take the audience on a musical journey from North to South, connecting traditional melodies with modern symphonies. The program ends with the majestic melody "As if Uncle Ho were here on the great victory day" which is also the consistent message of "What Remains Forever 2025" .
