There are fathers who are rough and tough in real life, who never say they love their children, but when they write, they are warm and unusually tolerant. There are fathers who work hard pedaling cyclos to carry their children's dreams, but there are also fathers who abandon their little daughters to chase after illusions. There are daughters who are stubborn and heartless every day, but when they write about their fathers, love flows through every stroke. There are obedient and filial children, but there are also children who stumble and make mistakes.
According to poet Hong Thanh Quang - Head of the contest's jury, the works that made it to the final round were all of high quality because they were meaningful stories and the writers' sincere feelings. "Not all the articles caught the judges' eyes, but I think that once we have written and expressed our sincere love for our fathers and daughters, those are very meaningful rewards," said poet Hong Thanh Quang.
