Many audio brands are racing to enter the Vietnamese market.

With a forecast of continuous double-digit growth from now until 2029, the audio equipment market in Vietnam promises great potential and is increasingly attracting many large and new brands in the world.

According to research results from market research company 6W Research, the audio equipment market in Vietnam will grow by 14.71% in 2025, peak at 16.5% in 2027 and remain stable at 14.81% in 2029.

Smart speakers grow strongly

In particular, smart speakers will grow by 40.4% in 2024 and are expected to reach 161.2% in 2033. The annual growth rate is 16.61% during the period from 2025 to 2033.

Popular brands in Vietnam include: Sony, LG, JBL… constantly launching new products. Or recently, there has been the appearance of a series of 4 international audio equipment brands including: Fender Audio, Tivoli, Linklike and Tribit.

Fender is an American brand with more than 8 decades of history, introducing to the Vietnamese market Fender Audio with the Elie speaker product line capable of connecting up to 100 speakers at the same time, or MIX wireless headphones with a battery life of up to 100 hours.

Mr. Ho Hoang Nguyen Vu, director of PHTD product distribution unit, assessed that Vietnamese consumers tend to increasingly prefer high-quality audio products that are suitable for modern lifestyles.

Competition is fiercer

According to 6W Research, the audio equipment market in Vietnam is witnessing strong growth due to the increasing demand for audio experiences in many different fields. Consumers are increasingly investing in high-quality audio equipment, from home entertainment systems to professional audio setups.

Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. Do Nhu Quynh, director of Nam Binh Company - a unit specializing in organizing exhibition events in the audio field, said that audio equipment in the hi-fi and hi-end segments continues to expand, as users tend to invest in "enjoyment class" instead of just features.

However, Ms. Quynh also said that the level of competition will increase sharply, because many Chinese brands are entering the market with cheap prices but stable quality.
