FPT Security Expert Group Enters Global Top 10 in Microsoft's Rankings

The Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) has just announced the rankings of outstanding security research individuals and teams in the first quarter.

Accordingly, the Offensive Security Department of FPT Smart Cloud, FPT Corporation, entered the global Top 10 in the category of discovering security vulnerabilities related to the Microsoft Azure platform. At the same time, the team ranked 34/142 individuals and groups of security experts worldwide.

Microsoft's rankings recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of global experts in discovering and reporting security vulnerabilities affecting Microsoft's product and service ecosystem. The list is published quarterly, based on strict criteria on the number of vulnerabilities discovered, severity, technical complexity and compliance with security reporting procedures.

During the first quarter, the Proactive Security team conducted a series of in-depth studies on core services on the Microsoft Azure platform, successfully discovering and reporting many vulnerabilities that could seriously affect enterprise user systems, while helping Microsoft promptly patch errors and enhance system defense capabilities.

FPT expert team achieved Top 10, Azure category in Microsoft Security Response Center ranking.

Being ranked at the top of the Azure Vulnerabilities category and Microsoft’s global rankings demonstrates the expertise and outstanding efforts of FPT security experts. This also affirms FPT’s commitment to developing products and technology platforms that meet international standards, with a high level of security - a key factor in the journey to reach the global market.
