A group of people beat up a driver on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh highway.

On the morning of August 26, Thu Duc City Police said that two people in the group that chased and knocked out a driver on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway on the afternoon of August 24 had turned themselves in.

Currently, Thu Duc City Police are coordinating with Phu Huu Ward Police and the highway management unit to continue verifying and investigating the incident.

According to the report of Mr. NHT (29 years old, residing in Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City), on the afternoon of August 24, Mr. T. was driving on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (from Long Thanh District, Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City). At this time, a 5-seat car with license plate 51G - 028.17 in the emergency lane overtook and pressed Mr. T's car. The person sitting in the car with license plate 51G - 028.17 kept pointing at Mr. T's car.

At this time, a 16-seat car also overtook, pressing the front of Mr. T's car. Two 5-seat and 16-seat cars chased Mr. T's car on the highway, reaching the road leading to the High-Tech Park of Ho Chi Minh City (Phu Huu Ward, Thu Duc City), Mr. T's car was forced to the side of the road by two 5-seat and 16-seat cars, stopping.

When Mr. T. got out of the car, he was immediately attacked by people in the 5-seat car with license plate 51G - 028.17 with iron rods, knocking him to the ground. After the incident, the group got back in the car and left. Mr. T. was taken to the emergency room with many injuries on his face, head, and hands.

According to Thu Duc City Police, the incident on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway most likely stemmed from a traffic conflict. Through the images obtained, the police identified a group of people in car with license plate 51G - 028.17 who beat Mr. T. residing in Nha Be District.

Currently, Thu Duc City Police are consolidating records and handling according to legal regulations the group of people who chased and beat people on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway.
