The first tourists to "break ground" in Binh Dinh in the new year 2025

On the first day of 2025, Binh Dinh welcomed many domestic and international tourists to the country on the first flight landing at Phu Cat airport on the morning of January 1.

At exactly 8:10 a.m. on January 1, flight VN1392 of Vietnam Airlines departing from Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) landed at Phu Cat Airport. 180 passengers on this flight (including 8 foreign tourists) were welcomed at Phu Cat Airport.

Singer Quach Thanh Danh was one of the first tourists to arrive at the airport terminal and was quite surprised when he was given flowers, gifts, and had a souvenir photo taken with the group. Singer Quach Thanh Danh shared: “I have been to Quy Nhon many times for work and tourism , but this time I was really surprised when everyone welcomed me with a very friendly handshake. Receiving a bouquet of flowers and a small gift from the leaders of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism, I felt my heart filled with happiness in the new year. Your Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh is always enthusiastic and hospitable, leaving many good impressions on me.”

Also coming to Quy Nhon for the first time to travel and being welcomed on the first day of the new year, Ms. Jiwon Kim, a tourist from Korea, shared: “The first time I came to Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh, I never thought that I would be welcomed so warmly and friendly as soon as I got off the plane. My friend and I came to Quy Nhon for a 4-day trip, hoping we would have an interesting experience. I will definitely return to Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh when I have the chance, because everyone left me with a very special impression.”

Sharing the same sentiment, Ms. Le Dinh Pham Thuy, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said: “I have been to Binh Dinh many times, but today I feel very lucky to be welcomed at the beginning of the year. The atmosphere of the ceremony to welcome the first flight to Phu Cat airport was very joyful and exciting, making everyone feel excited and full of joy on the first day of the new year 2025”.

Captain Hoang Quoc Vinh, captain of flight VN1392, shared that he felt happy to be the first flight to land at Phu Cat Airport and to be warmly welcomed. Captain Hoang Quoc Vinh also sent his best wishes to everyone attending the ceremony to welcome the first flight to Binh Dinh for a new year of good health and success in all fields, and wished Binh Dinh tourism industry to continue to accelerate to welcome more tourists to the land of Vo.

According to Phu Cat Airport, on the first day of the new year 2025, there were 14 flights to Binh Dinh. Mr. Tran Van Thanh, Director of the Department of Tourism, said: The positive signal from flights to Phu Cat Airport on the first day of the new year with many foreign tourists shows an optimistic start for Binh Dinh's tourism industry to strive to welcome 10 million visitors in 2025. We also have a plan to welcome the first train to "break ground" in Binh Dinh on the morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025. Organizing to welcome the first flight or train to Binh Dinh "break ground" in the new year, not only shows the friendly and hospitable culture but also contributes to promoting and introducing to tourists when coming to Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh will have interesting experiences.
