Weather forecast apps and sites you need to 'pocket' to follow

With the increasingly unpredictable developments of natural disasters, weather forecasts are increasingly being followed by people. But which sites are reliable and do not spread false information or cause panic?

Currently, our country's official weather forecast site is managed by the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting - Department of Hydro-Meteorology (under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ).

People can access the site from the following addresses: https://www.nchmf.gov.vn/kttv/ ; https://www.kttv.gov.vn/kttv/ ; https://www.thoitietvietnam.gov.vn/kttv/ .

Next to that is the website of the 3 regional hydrometeorological stations of the North, Central and South ( http://www.kttv-nb.org.vn/ ). Below the regional stations are provincial stations.

These pages post full information about weather conditions in all regions of the country. Every day there are forecasts and warnings of dangerous weather, natural disasters such as storms, floods, landslides, extreme rain, heat waves, etc. as well as knowledge about hydrometeorology for people to know.

People can also access the website http://hymetnet.gov.vn/radar/ and https://iweather.gov.vn/ of the Center for Hydro-Meteorological Observation Techniques (Vietnam Hydro-Meteorological Administration) to monitor lightning warnings and track real-time cumulative rain radar data.

For natural disaster warnings, there is currently a Vietnam Natural Disaster Monitoring System page at https://vndms.dmc.gov.vn/ . This page warns of storm paths, wind speeds, ocean waves, and hot temperatures, compiled from many reputable sources in the country and the US, Japan, Hong Kong, etc.
