Ninh Binh has 3 excellent tourism units with the sign "VITA GREEN Green Tourism"

Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association, awarded the Decision recognizing the 5-star Legend Ninh Binh Hotel as meeting the "VITA GREEN Green Tourism" standard.

Attending the event were Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association; leaders of Ninh Binh Tourism Association, Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, Vietnam Green Tourism Association (VGTA); representatives of tourism businesses, travel agencies, and accommodation establishments in and outside the province.

"VITA GREEN Green Tourism" is a brand initiated by the Vietnam Tourism Association over the past 2 years to promote tourism businesses to develop according to an environmentally friendly model, preserve nature and connect with local communities.

Based on the documents and appraisal results according to the Green Tourism Criteria, VITA Vietnam Green Tourism Appraisal Council In 2025, 155 outstanding collectives and 69 individuals nationwide were reviewed and selected for honor. Ninh Binh Province has affirmed its leading position in the country in terms of the number of enterprises (10 units) participating in implementing the Green Tourism Criteria in many fields such as: accommodation, restaurants, travel, destinations achieving VITA GREEN Green Tourism certification at 3 levels: Standard, advanced and excellent.

Delegates attached the bronze sign "VITA GREEN Green Tourism" to Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area.

After the announcement ceremony, representatives of the Vietnam Tourism Association, Ninh Binh Tourism Association, Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, Vietnam Green Tourism Association (VGTA) and related units proceeded to attach the bronze sign "VITA GREEN Green Tourism" to 3 excellent pioneering units nationwide, including: 5-star Legend Ninh Binh Hotel (accommodation unit); Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area (destination) and Thanh Nga Luxury Restaurant - Ninh Binh (green tourism product "From farm to table").

The above award is a recognition of the efforts of enterprises in practicing sustainable tourism development, reducing emissions, protecting the environment and enhancing the image of green tourism in Ninh Binh. At the same time, it is a driving force to promote the innovation and creativity of the business community and workers in the tourism industry, opening up opportunities to promote unique products, services and destinations of Ninh Binh. Thereby, enhancing the position of enterprises, competitiveness, encouraging and promoting the green and sustainable development of the tourism industry.
