On May 27, Ninh Binh province held the opening ceremony of the "Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An" tourism week in 2023, attracting thousands of tourists and people to attend.
In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of
Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, said: "This is an important annual tourism event of the province, contributing to honoring the value of heritage, nature, culture, image of Ninh Binh land and people, the unique
tourism identity of Tam Coc-Bich Dong region with domestic and international friends and tourists. This is also an activity to concretize Resolution No. 82 of
the Government on accelerating recovery, accelerating effective and sustainable tourism development; an opportunity for Ninh Binh to promote, exchange and cooperate in culture and tourism with localities at home and abroad."

Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 takes place from May 27 to June 4. In addition to the opening ceremony at Tam Coc-Bich Dong Tourist Area, many other activities will take place at Trang An Eco-tourism Area, experiencing the walking street: Performance and display of traditional handicraft products, OCOP products of Ninh Binh province and other provinces and cities; Tam Coc Golden Season photo tour; Survey and introduction program of Ninh Binh tourism products; Artistic photo exhibition; Display and introduction of cultural vestiges of the Tran Dynasty in Trang An Heritage and art programs of water puppetry, Cheo singing, Xam singing, folk songs of 3 regions....

The highlight of this year's tourism week is the folk painting "Ly Ngu Vong Nguyet" created right on the poetic rice field of more than
9,500m2 . That symbol represents the aspiration, effort, will to rise up and pray for national peace, favorable weather, and bountiful crops. Tam Coc rice field, Ninh Binh is honored as one of the 5 most beautiful rice fields in Vietnam. The most impressive time to travel to Tam Coc-Bich Dong is at the end of May, the beginning of June when the rice is golden and shimmering, spreading its fragrance.

The two banks of the poetic Ngo Dong River are ranges of thousands of stone mountains in various shapes and sizes, blending with the green of the leaves.
