Efforts for comprehensive digital transformation in Hanoi City Police

VHO - On the afternoon of July 15, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Director of the Hanoi City Police Department, chaired the launching ceremony of the "Digital Education for All" movement in the entire force and opened a training course on digital skills, digital transformation and AI application on this platform.

The launching ceremony of the "Digital Education for the People" movement aims to disseminate basic knowledge about digital transformation and digital skills to all officers and soldiers, contributing to accelerating the implementation of national digital transformation and digital transformation in the City Police.

Hanoi City Police has focused on directing the implementation of comprehensive digital transformation with specific solutions and roadmaps, typically such as comprehensive review, adjustment, removal of "bottlenecks", creating a legal corridor to promote digital transformation in the City Police; Building the Project "Digital transformation in Hanoi City Police in the period of 2025 - 2030".

The City Police also proactively coordinated with specialized units, experts, Mobifone Corporation... to research and develop digital transformation products and deploy 17 key solutions in the near future. Notable solutions include: Deploying a camera system integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) with many modern features; applying AI to the 113, 114 switchboard system; applying a virtual assistant to automatically respond to messages and calls from people via the switchboard number 1900-0113; A document digitization software system with very high data processing speed.

In addition, the City Police are deploying a second AI camera system with a total of 1,837 cameras.

In order for the emulation movement to be practical and effective, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of the City Police Department, requested units to ensure that the "Digital Literacy for All" movement is deployed comprehensively and widely, creating a vibrant and positive competitive atmosphere, considering learning and practicing digital skills as a regular task, associated with work, combat, and serving the people.

Units clearly define tasks, roadmaps, appropriate methods, apply digital technology , AI, online learning platforms, promote existing resources, ensure methodical, flexible, creative, and practical. Thoroughly implement the spirit: Party committees and leaders set an example; each officer and soldier both learns and teaches. Build and develop a team of experts in the City Police; increase the application of digital technology, AI, online meetings connecting the City Police to the grassroots Police.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung also requested each officer and soldier to: Be an example in studying, practicing, improving digital skills, proficiently using technology platforms to serve work; guide people, especially the elderly and disadvantaged people to access online public services...
