Efforts to implement educational programs to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training.

The preschool education program is implemented flexibly, in accordance with the practical context of each locality, ensuring safety for children and focusing on comprehensive development in an integrated, child-centered direction. Professional activities are organized regularly at the school and school cluster levels with rich content, promoting the application of information technology, integrating local culture and implementingeducation according to the STEM model. Some units have boldly chosen pilot models of STEM education to implement and replicate.

In addition, the Department of Education and Training organizes many competitions, contests and exchanges for teachers and preschool children. Many conferences and seminars are held with the aim of improving professional quality and replicating effective models.

In addition, projects such as "Supporting the development of preschool education in disadvantaged areas in the period 2022 - 2030" and "Enhancing Vietnamese for preschool children and primary school students in ethnic minority areas" continue to be effectively implemented. In the first semester of the 2024 - 2025 school year, the English familiarization program for preschool children was implemented in 12 schools with 1,276 children participating.

Health care and boarding care are focused on by the facilities; 100% of children receive regular health check-ups and growth monitoring using charts. However, this work still faces challenges such as the rate of malnourished, underweight and stunted children tending to increase slightly. On the other hand, the non-public preschool system is not stable, many facilities face difficulties in funding and human resources.

Implementing the 2018 General Education Program, the Department of Education and Training has synchronously deployed the contents, especially for grades 5, 9 and 12. Training conferences for managers and teachers are regularly organized to innovate teaching methods and improve professional capacity to implement the Program. Recruitment and placement of teachers are proactively carried out, focusing on the subjects of Information Technology and English.

National projects such as foreign language projects, career education, and STEM education continue to be strongly implemented. Schools have linked educational programs with practice, helping students develop comprehensive capacities. Ethnic education is focused on, contributing to increasing the rate of ethnic minority students attending class and reducing the rate of dropouts.

In addition, vocational education centers - GDTX and Bac Kan College are interested in improving the quality of teaching GDTX programs at high school level. In addition, community learning centers have organized many specialized classes, updating knowledge and skills for people, meeting the need for lifelong learning.

Students of Specialized High School always actively study and practice.

Thanks to synchronous solutions, educational results at all levels have shown positive signs. In the first semester, the rate of mobilizing preschool children from 3 to 5 years old and 5-year-old children to attend class reached 100%; 100% of schools organized 2 sessions/day, ensuring physical and mental safety for children. At the primary level, the rate of students completing Math and Vietnamese well increased compared to the same period. For continuing education, the Department of Education and Training implemented universal education - illiteracy eradication programs. Up to now, the province continues to maintain the standards of universalization levels: 5-year-old preschool, primary school level 3, secondary school level 2, illiteracy eradication level 2...

By the end of the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year, the rate of teachers meeting training standards at all levels of basic education met the requirements. In particular, at the high school and vocational education levels, 100% of teachers met the standards. The rate of teachers above the standards also increased, reflecting the effectiveness of the work of fostering and training the teaching staff.

With the results achieved in recent times, the Education and Training sector is gradually affirming its stable and sustainable development. The effective implementation of educational programs at all three levels is a testament to the continuous efforts of all levels, sectors and the whole society in the cause of improving the quality of education in the province.
