The early childhood education program is implemented flexibly, adapting to the practical context of each locality, ensuring children's safety and focusing on holistic development in an integrated, child-centered approach. Professional development activities are regularly organized at the school and cluster levels with rich content, promoting the application of information technology, integrating local culture, and implementing STEM education . Some units have boldly chosen pilot models of STEM education to implement and replicate.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training organizes many competitions, contests, and exchanges for teachers and preschool children. Numerous conferences and workshops are held with the goal of improving professional quality and replicating effective models.
In addition, projects such as "Supporting the Development of Early Childhood Education in Disadvantaged Areas 2022-2030" and "Strengthening Vietnamese Language Skills for Preschool and Primary School Children in Ethnic Minority Areas" continue to be implemented effectively. In the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year, the English Introduction Program for preschool children was implemented in 12 schools with 1,276 participating children.
Healthcare and daycare services are prioritized by the facilities; 100% of children receive regular health check-ups and their growth is monitored using growth charts. However, this work still faces challenges, such as a slight increase in the rate of underweight and stunted children. On the other hand, the non-public early childhood education system is not yet stable, with many facilities facing difficulties in terms of funding and personnel.

In implementing the 2018 General Education Program, the Department of Education and Training has comprehensively deployed the content, especially for grades 5, 9, and 12. Regular training conferences for administrators and teachers are organized to innovate teaching methods and enhance professional capacity in implementing the Program. Teacher recruitment and placement are carried out proactively, with a focus on Information Technology and English.
National projects such as foreign language programs, vocational education, and STEM education continue to be strongly implemented. Schools have integrated educational programs with practical applications, helping students develop comprehensive competencies. Ethnic minority education is emphasized, contributing to an increase in the school attendance rate for ethnic minority students and reducing dropout rates.
In addition, vocational training centers and Bac Kan College are focusing on improving the quality of teaching in the high school level continuing education program. Furthermore, community learning centers have organized many specialized courses to update knowledge and skills for the people, meeting their lifelong learning needs.

Thanks to synchronized solutions, educational results at all levels show positive signs. In the first semester, the enrollment rate for preschool children aged 3-5 and 5-year-olds reached 100%; 100% of schools organized two sessions per day, ensuring the physical and mental safety of children. At the primary school level, the percentage of students who performed well in Mathematics and Vietnamese increased compared to the same period. For continuing education, the Department of Education and Training implemented universal education and literacy programs. To date, the province continues to maintain the standards for all levels of universal education: preschool for 5-year-olds, primary school level 3, lower secondary school level 2, and literacy level 2...
By the end of the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year, the percentage of teachers meeting the required training standards at all levels of education has basically met the requirements. In particular, at the high school and continuing education levels, 100% of teachers have met the standards. The percentage of teachers exceeding the standards has also increased, reflecting the effectiveness of teacher training and development.
With the achievements made in the past, the Education and Training sector is gradually affirming its stable and sustainable development. The effective implementation of educational programs at all three levels is evidence of the continuous efforts of all levels, sectors, and society as a whole in the cause of improving the quality of education in the province.
In the coming period, the sector will continue to promote innovation, improve the quality of teaching and learning, focus on comprehensive education, develop students' abilities, and meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training.
