Hai Duong farmers receive nearly 24.5 billion VND in support to build greenhouses

Hai Duong Department of Agriculture and Environment has supported farmers with nearly 24.5 billion VND to build greenhouses.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hai Duong, since the beginning of the year, the department has supported nearly 24.5 billion VND for farmers in 9 districts and cities to build greenhouses. The total supported area is 244,520 ^m2 , the support level is 100,000 VND/ ^m2 .

The support fund is part of the project to develop high- value vegetables, flowers and ornamental plants in 2025 of Hai Duong province.

Some units received a lot of support such as: Gia Loc (over 16.8 billion VND, the most in the province), Binh Giang (nearly 3.7 billion VND)...

From now until the end of June, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will support Chi Linh City with nearly 3.1 billion VND.

Hai Duong currently has more than 100 hectares of greenhouses. Due to synchronous investment in electricity, irrigation water systems, etc., the value of vegetable production in greenhouses reaches from 600 million VND to 1.5 billion VND/ha, 3-6 times higher than normal production.
