British actress Prunella Scales, best known for her role as Sybil Fawlty in the comedy series "Fawlty Towers," has passed away at the age of 93, it was announced on October 28.

Prunella Scales was born in Surrey in 1932 and began her acting career at The Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol. Her role as Sybil in the film "Fawlty Towers" won a BAFTA award and left a lasting impression on British audiences.
