Previously, on May 9, during the second semester Geography test, student T. showed signs of using documents and was discovered by teacher X.

At this time, Ms. X. went from the exam desk area to where T. was sitting, and slapped the male student twice in the face. The entire incident was recorded by the school's security camera.

T.'s parents then filed a complaint against Ms. X. with the school.

On May 17, the People's Committee of Tan An Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City, held a meeting with relevant parties. At the meeting, Ms. X. admitted to slapping student T. and apologized to the student's parents.
