Since the mid-nineteenth century, the Nai Mountain - Phu River - Cam Son Pagoda complex has been famous far and wide and is ranked as one of the beautiful landscapes of Ha Tinh city. In the struggle for national liberation, this place is associated with the resounding victories of the army and people of Ha Tinh. Despite many ups and downs, Phu River, Nai Mountain, and Cam Son Pagoda are still unforgettable addresses with the simple but affectionate name of Dai Nai.

On March 26, 1965, the army and people of Ha Tinh achieved a glorious feat, shooting down 12 enemy planes at Nai Mountain... recorded in the heroic history of the resistance war against the US to save the country. More than 60 years have passed, but in the memories of the people of Ha Tinh, that spirit and pride remain intact, creating motivation in the work of building the country and homeland today.

It seems that for everyone, whether tourists or locals, Nai Mountain is always a beautiful symbol and a place to preserve cultural sediments of Thanh Sen - Ha Tinh land. Nai Mountain is about 3.6 hectares wide, the peak is about 23m above sea level. Through archaeological investigation, this place is identified as belonging to the scallop sandbank site on the central coast, belonging to the late Neolithic period. With beautiful natural scenery, looking from afar like a miniature mountain, Nai Mountain has become an inspiration for many poets, writers, and musicians to compose, and then enter literature and music in a sincere and simple way.

Along with Nai Mountain, Phu River is also a source of pride not only for Dai Nai people. With its natural beauty and cultural sediments, Phu River always brings a soft, poetic picture to the city. Crossing Phu River is a bridge about 79m long, commonly known as Phu Bridge. During the war against America, Phu Bridge was one of the main targets of fierce attacks for 4 years in order to cut off the support of the rear for the front line; now it is an ideal destination for those who love peace.

When coming to the Nai Mountain - Phu River complex, visitors should not forget to visit the ancient temple located in the southwest of Nai Mountain, which the locals often call Cam Son Pagoda. Cam Son Pagoda was built around the Later Le period, under the reign of King Le Than Tong, Thinh Duc year (1653 - 1657). In front of the pagoda, there is a banyan tree with lush branches and leaves, contributing to the sacred and ancient architectural space of Cam Son Pagoda.
