Samsung 990 EVO Plus internal SSD hard drive on sale in Vietnam

The 990 EVO Plus internal SSD is backed by decades of pioneering semiconductor technology, delivering Samsung's proven reliability. It delivers sequential read speeds of up to 7,250 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6,300 MB/s, up to 50% faster than the previous 990 EVO.

This performance improvement is thanks to Samsung’s latest 8th generation V-NAND technology and Samsung’s 5 nanometer (nm) controller. At the same time, a unique nickel-plated heatsink helps reduce overheating, improving energy efficiency by 73% compared to the 990 EVO version.

The 4TB version of the 990 EVO Plus also leads the industry with sequential read speeds of up to 1,050K input/output operations per second (IOPS) and sequential write speeds of up to 1,400K IOPS. This remarkable performance is almost on par with DRAM-integrated SSDs, despite not using a DRAM cache. This makes the 990 EVO Plus an optimal solution for demanding gaming and AI (artificial intelligence) tasks.

The 990 EVO Plus internal SSD is now available in a variety of capacities from 1TB, 2TB to 4TB, far exceeding the capacity of the previous 990 EVO. The 990 EVO Plus also features Samsung's intelligent TurboWrite 2.0 technology, which has been improved to optimize performance, helping to speed up file transfers and reduce latency.

In the Vietnamese market, the 1 TB version of SSD 990 EVO Plus is currently priced at 3,056 million VND.
