According to the Prime Minister's decision signed on June 2, Mr. Hoang Trung, Director of the Plant Protection Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, was appointed as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Accordingly, the Minister of Home Affairs , the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Mr. Hoang Trung are responsible for implementing this decision.

Thus, currently the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has 5 deputy ministers including Mr. Phung Duc Tien, Tran Thanh Nam, Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Nguyen Quoc Tri and Hoang Trung.

The Minister is Mr. Le Minh Hoan.

Mr. Hoang Trung, 54 years old, from Van Yen, Yen Bai; PhD degree.

Before being appointed, Mr. Hoang Trung worked as a specialist, deputy head of the Plant Quarantine Department, then head of the Plant Protection Department, deputy head of the Plant Protection Department, and head of the Plant Protection Department./.
