Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet was appointed as Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested the new Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee to arrange cadres after the Congress to ensure democracy, objectivity, and proper procedures, create consensus, promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, and creativity.

On the afternoon of October 16, Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work.

Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee attended and presented the decision.

At the conference, comrade Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's decision on the transfer, assignment and appointment of comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

In his speech assigning tasks, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung assessed that comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet is a young cadre, with basic training, matured from the grassroots and has experienced many different working positions in localities.

In addition, Comrade Triet also has the capacity and experience in Party building and state management; is determined, close to the grassroots, and has the ability to gather and unite within agencies and units.

In his recent positions, the new Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary has demonstrated his capacity and sense of responsibility, always completing assigned tasks well, making important contributions to the development of the locality, agency and unit.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested the new Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee to closely follow the direction of the Politburo at the Provincial Party Congress, promptly organize the dissemination and implementation of the Action Program of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; promulgate working regulations, assign tasks; arrange cadres after the Congress to ensure democracy, objectivity, and compliance with procedures, create consensus and promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity.

Comrade Le Minh Hung noted that the new Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee in his new position must thoroughly grasp the orientations and directions of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat in the new development period; especially the General Secretary's closing speech at the 13th Central Conference with many important and urgent contents that need to be implemented immediately in the coming time, in which the top priority is to prepare well for the 14th National Party Congress; complete and exceed the remaining targets of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the socio-economic development tasks in 2025, and the 5-year Plan 2021-2025.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet respectfully thanked the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Organizing Committee and General Secretary To Lam for their attention and trust in entrusting him with the great responsibility of being the head of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, a locality with an important strategic position in terms of national defense and security and many potentials and advantages in terms of economy, culture and society.

Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet determined that the task assigned by the Party is both an honor and a responsibility in response to the high demands of development, especially in carrying out the important responsibility set forth by the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, building the province to become increasingly rich and beautiful, developing rapidly and sustainably, becoming a new growth pole of the Central Highlands and South Central Coast.

The new Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee promised to make every effort, constantly study and be responsible for his work, inherit and continue the achievements and dedication that previous generations of leaders of Dak Lak and Phu Yen provinces had worked hard to build.

He will work with the Party Committee and the political system to continue promoting revolutionary traditions, solidarity, self-reliance, dynamism and creativity, proactively seizing opportunities, overcoming challenges to successfully carry out the goals and tasks assigned by the Party and people.

Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, born in 1976, is from Da Nang city. He has held many different positions in localities such as: Member of the Executive Committee, Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary, Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the City Labor Federation, Chief of the City Party Committee Office, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang city...

From January 2024 to June 2025, he was assigned to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee (old).

From July to September 2025, he was assigned to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City. From September 2025, he held the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee./.
