Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai holds the position of Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee

On the morning of October 3, at the 1st Congress of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, the Congress announced the Politburo's personnel decisions. Accordingly, the Politburo appointed Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai to hold the position of Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term Nguyen Tien Hai has just been appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

At the 1st Congress of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, the Congress announced the Politburo's decisions to appoint 66 comrades to participate in the Executive Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030; and appoint 16 people to participate in the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.

The Politburo decided to appoint Central Party Committee member, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai (term 2020-2025) to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030, holding the position of Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030; Appoint Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Standing Deputy Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee (term 2020-2025), to continue holding the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Council, term 2025-2030.

The Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025, continue to be appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, including: Mr. Ho Van Mung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province; Tran Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of the province, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province; Lam Minh Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee.

An Giang Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai, 60 years old, from Tan Thanh ward, Ca Mau province. Has a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor's degree in law.

Before holding the position of Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Hai held the following positions: Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chief of the Office of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Cai Nuoc District Party Committee, Director of the Department of Justice, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.

In February 2025, Mr. Hai was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. After that, Mr. Hai continued to hold this position when the province merged with An Giang from July 1 until now.
