Mr. Ta Cong Dung was appointed as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ngai province, term I, 2025 - 2030.

On July 21, 2025, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs for the 2021-2025 term convened 144 party members to attend the Party Congress of the Department of Home Affairs for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Ta Cong Dung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs chaired the congress.

The Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ngai province was established on the basis of merging the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ngai province and the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs of Kon Tum province, including 11 affiliated Party Cells with 144 Party members.

During the past term, the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs (old) and the Party Committee of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (old) (now the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs of both Quang Ngai and Kon Tum provinces before the merger) promptly directed the entire Party Committee to closely follow the documents of the Central Committee, Directives and Resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to develop and promulgate Action Programs, Resolutions, directions, key tasks and organize the good implementation of assigned political tasks.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Department's Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, and enhanced its comprehensive and direct leadership role in professional work, effectively implementing assigned political tasks. Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the efforts of all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers, the Party Committee has achieved many important results, leadership and direction work has been deployed synchronously, closely, closely following the resolutions and directives of superiors and the practical situation of the unit. The targets of the Party Congress Resolution for the 2020 - 2025 term have basically met the set plan.
