Pep: 'Haaland is stupid to sign with Barcelona'

Coach Pep Guardiola has denied the possibility that Erling Haaland could leave Man City to move to Barcelona in the future.

Spanish media revealed that Barcelona President Joan Laporta has put Haaland on his top target list if he runs for re-election. The Catalan team is dreaming of combining Haaland with young stars like Lamine Yamal or Pedri to build a new generation.

In response to this information, Guardiola appeared relaxed and sarcastically said: "I think Haaland is not stupid enough to sign a contract that he does not intend to fulfill. He knows what he wants and is very happy here."
