Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, is ready to provide maximum support to training centers of the public security sector, including the People's Security Academy, to expand international cooperation.
Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, recently had a meeting and worked with a delegation from the People's Security Academy led by Colonel, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Truong Tho, Deputy Director of the People's Security Academy, who is on a working trip to New York City, USA.
According to VNA correspondent in New York, Colonel Nguyen Truong Tho thanked the delegation for their warm welcome and, on behalf of the delegation, gave an overview of the formation and development history of the People's Security Academy, as well as the Academy's contributions to training and educating cadres for the Party, State and Public Security sector, sharing some of the Academy's concerns regarding international integration, scientific research as well as issues that need to be studied from the local situation.

Welcoming the delegation of the People's Security Academy to visit the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang expressed his admiration for the long tradition and great contributions of the Academy to the cause of national security protection and the training of high-quality officials for the Party, State and Public Security sector, and shared his pride when General To Lam, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security , a former student of all three levels of the People's Security Academy, was recently trusted by the Central Committee to be nominated by the National Assembly to hold the position of President.
On this occasion, Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang discussed with the delegation some of the delegation's outstanding contributions to Vietnam's multilateral foreign affairs and international integration, updated some international, regional and local situations as well as emerging security challenges related to Vietnam's national interests and security; affirmed that within the scope of responsibility and authority, the delegation is ready to provide maximum support to the training centers of the public security sector, including the People's Security Academy, in expanding cooperation and international integration./.
