On January 11, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung worked with the Tay Ho District Party Committee on the results of implementing political tasks in the 2020-2023 period, key tasks in the 2024-2025 period and the following years.

According to the report, in recent years, Tay Ho district's economy has continued to be stable and growing. In particular, in 2023, it increased by 14.6% and the total budget revenue reached 119% of the plan. The district also paid attention to and invested in 56 cultural industry development projects with a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND...
At the meeting, Tay Ho district presented 11 groups of recommendations and proposals. Specifically: proposing the City to allow the district to invest in projects under the City's authority, such as: Building a road outside the Red River dike in Tay Ho district; building Nguyen Hoang Ton road in Tay Ho district and Bac Tu Liem district; building a road from Lac Long Quan to Cong Do, Buoi ward.
In addition, the City proposes that the district implement the project to build a resettlement housing area at X1, Phu Thuong ward, with 828 apartments; assign the district to carry out site clearance and be the investor in building a resettlement housing fund for land plot CT4 in Xuan La resettlement area; Support funding to implement projects to renovate, upgrade technical infrastructure and protect the environment of West Lake.
In the district, there are 3 key projects (Heart Hospital 2, Opera House and Quang An Multi-purpose Cultural Area project, Tu Lien Bridge project). The district requests the City to soon implement the above 3 projects to meet the socio-economic development requirements of the district in the coming time...
Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the City Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung highly appreciated the results the district has achieved, demonstrating its aspirations for development.
"The District is always a pioneer in implementing the directions of the Central Government and the City, without waiting, relying, or avoiding responsibility," the Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized.
The district has also identified and initially concretized the Politburo's policy in Resolution 15-NQ/TW, dated May 5, 2022, on the direction and tasks of developing Hanoi Capital to 2030, with a vision to 2045; has unlocked resources, considering culture as a new development resource of the Capital, demonstrating the sustainable development of the district.
In the coming time, Secretary of the City Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung suggested that the district must preserve and promote the value of West Lake and the area surrounding West Lake, considering this a resource and sustainable development of West Lake.
At the same time, the district is required to develop a comprehensive and synchronous project with the participation of departments and branches to join hands to solve environmental, infrastructure and landscape issues "to preserve West Lake as a true national treasure".
We must pay attention to reviewing and training our staff, selecting competent staff to assign them to suitable jobs, creating positive changes. The city will accompany the district, increasing resources to carry out the tasks.
Basically agreeing with the recommendations and proposals of the district, Secretary of the City Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung suggested that the district build a clear implementation roadmap with clear progress from now until 2030, focusing on projects related to West Lake and connections around West Lake to create changes in the appearance of West Lake in terms of environment, urban management, static and dynamic traffic systems to create highlights.
