Hojlund welcomes Sesko to MU.

For months, the British press has been reporting that MU has been actively searching for a new striker after the disappointing seasons of both Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee. And they have recruited Benjamin Sesko for 85 million euros. The Slovenian striker is about to undergo a medical before his official debut.

Although MU has not announced the deal, the players seem to know about the arrival of this new player. The proof is that Hojlund clicked "like" on the post with the familiar phrase "Here we go" by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Instagram. According to Goal , this is a sign that Hojlund is as excited as many "Red Devils" fans.

However, the move does not mean that Hojlund accepts losing his starting position. Sharing after scoring in MU's 4-1 victory over Bournemouth on July 31, the Danish striker affirmed: "The most important thing for me is to continue to try, stay focused and wait and see what happens. My plan is to stay and fight for my position, regardless of the circumstances."

Sesko is expected to lead the MU attack for most of next season, and could even play in the opening Premier League match against Arsenal at Old Trafford. He is the third new signing in the "Red Devils" attack this summer, after Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

The competition for the centre-forward position at the Theatre of Dreams was heating up even before Sesko arrived in Manchester.
