Launching the FPGA Open 2025 Design Competition

With the aim of inspiring passion, raising awareness and developing research and microchip design capacity among students in Da Nang city, DSAC cooperates with international enterprises including: Gowin Semiconductor, Willas Electronics, Sonix, OneKiwi Technology, Leci Ltd. to organize a large-scale competition and an in-depth training program.

The preliminary round of the competition is expected to take place on July 1, 2025, the final round and award ceremony at the end of 2025. The competition includes 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 3 third prizes and many other secondary prizes.

In parallel with the competition, DSAC will cooperate with accompanying businesses to organize a free FPGA training program for students.

At the ceremony, DSAC and its partners signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in training semiconductor human resources and organizing the FPGA Open 2025 Competition.

Accordingly, the partners: Gowin Semiconductor Company, Willas Electronics, Onekiwi Technology, Leci Ltd., Semiconductor Test Vietnam will sponsor 8,000 USD in cash and in kind for the competition.

On this occasion, 4 finalists of the 2nd Smart Urban Microchip Design Competition (2024), 2 teams entering the Imagine Cup 2025 world semi-finals, and 3 teams winning the Imagine Cup 2025 Central Region National Prize were honored for their outstanding achievements.

In addition, DSAC awarded certificates to 41 outstanding students who completed the intensive training program "Intel Gaudi and AI Software Platform".
