
This is the opening event of the journey to bring Vietnamese literature into the era of comprehensive digital publishing. The contest creates opportunities for young authors and creative people to spread their works to millions of readers through modern technology platforms.
The contest is open to all authors, writers and young writers who want to tell their stories using advanced publishing methods. Entries will not only be presented in manuscript form but also have the opportunity to be converted into digital products, helping Vietnamese stories reach further in the new era.

The “Digital Literature” contest is not only a playground, but also a push for Vietnamese literature to enter a new boom period. Bookas hopes to ignite the creative spirit, arouse the desire to write and give each author the opportunity to bring their works to the public in the most modern forms.
According to writer Nguyen Dinh Tu, Deputy Judge of the Contest, he supports the new way of bringing literature to the public. This contest shows new publishing issues, new distribution, new forms, new ways of reading (listening), and new types of income for writers and their works.
According to the Organizing Committee of the Contest, the contest's themes include: reality - reflecting real and profound social life; romance - subtle emotions, love, aspiration, youthful, easy to read, rich in emotions; detective-fantasy - mystery, fantasy, adventure, and experiments, new and creative writing styles.
The contest includes 3 award groups: creativity, integration, and favorite, with a total value and gifts of up to 500 million VND, along with opportunities to publish audiobooks for free, receive certificates and medals; and give 2 years of VIP Bookas to all participating authors.
Entries must be written in Vietnamese. For the creative award, the works must be new and have never been published on any platform, newspaper or social network. For other categories: there is no requirement to be completely new, but the work must be owned by the author.

Each author can submit multiple works to the contest. For the creative award, each author can submit a maximum of 2 works.
All entries must be posted on the Bookas platform. Listens, likes, comments, and shares on Bookas will be recorded to calculate points.
The Contest's Jury includes writer Vo Thi Xuan Ha (head of the jury), writer Nguyen Dinh Tu (deputy head of the jury), writer Tong Phuoc Bao (member). The creative award will be evaluated by the Jury, while the integration award and the favorite award will be evaluated based on: Interaction on Bookas (listening, liking, commenting, sharing) and scores from the Jury.

In addition, for authors who have printed books or manuscripts in soft file format but are not yet proficient in using the bookas application, they can send their works to the Organizing Committee in one of the following two ways: Send printed copies or hard copies to the address: 124 Street No. 2, Van Phuc Residential Area, Hiep Binh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City; send soft files (Word, PDF) via email: banthao.bookas@gmail.com.
In particular, the contest is completely free, absolutely no money transfer in any form to avoid scammers. From the steps of registration, participation, manuscript uploading to publishing audiobooks, authors do not have to pay any fees, to ensure fairness, easy access and open up creative opportunities for all Vietnamese citizens.
