On the evening of November 19, the Defense Command of Region 4 - Chu Prong, the Military Command of Gia Lai province coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting force, the Provincial Police and local authorities to deploy a plan to rescue two isolated people in Ia Don village (Ia Le commune).

With the floodwaters rising and flowing so strongly that motorboats could not safely approach, rescuers used specialized rope guns to create access. After more than 3 hours of effort, the victims were brought out safely, given medical care and arranged temporary shelter.
Meanwhile, in Tuy An Bac commune ( Dak Lak province), many roads and low-lying areas were flooded with high and fast-flowing floodwaters. Following orders from the Military Region 5 Command, Brigade 572 mobilized specialized vehicles, canoes, motorboats and rescue forces to reach deeply flooded areas that very night.

The working groups waded through the rushing water, evacuating each household, especially the elderly and children, from the danger zone. The decisive spirit and timely presence of the troops helped minimize damage and stabilize the people's psychology in the face of the complicated flood situation.

The timely actions and close coordination between forces of Military Region 5 continue to affirm the mettle of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in peacetime, always ready to rescue and protect people's lives and property, contributing to minimizing damage caused by floods.
