Timely rescue of 2 children trapped in a deep hole at Tram mountain

At 1:47 p.m. on November 20, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a report that two children were trapped in a deep hole in Tram Mountain, Long Chau Mieu Village, Chuong My Ward, Hanoi City.

Upon receiving the news, the Command Information Center mobilized forces and vehicles of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Area 28, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to quickly go to the scene to organize rescue.

Upon arriving at the scene, realizing that the terrain of the rocky mountain area was complex and that access to the deep hole was difficult, the force commander promptly directed the officers and soldiers to conduct reconnaissance and approach the incident site to determine the exact location of the victims. The rescue force organized initial first aid and used specialized equipment to deploy a rescue team, bringing the victims to a safe location.

Authorities have removed two victims from the deep hole and moved them to a safe location.

According to initial information, while on a family picnic in the Tram mountain area, a 4-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl slipped and fell into a deep hole and became trapped, unable to get out on their own.

Currently, the health of the two children is stable and their lives are not in danger.
