
Speaking to a large number of journalists from both countries, Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb highly appreciated the results of this visit by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, especially the upgrading of bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership, which will open a new chapter and a new phase for the relationship that has been very good and has made important progress in recent times between the two countries; concretizing the wishes and aspirations of generations of leaders and people of the two countries.
Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb once again affirmed Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's determination to promote cooperation with Vietnam.
According to him, the establishment of the Strategic Partnership is not only a new framework for relations but also reflects the strategic vision of the leaders of the two countries to promote cooperation in areas such as politics , diplomacy, defense, security, economy and people-to-people exchange. In addition, the visit of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also aims to complete the framework and legal corridor in the relationship between the two countries, with the signing of many important cooperation documents in the fields of trade, housing, finance, etc.
The Algerian Prime Minister assessed the exchange as very effective and practical, once again affirming the important stature of bilateral relations and strengthening the spirit of solidarity between the two countries and peoples in responding to traditional and non-traditional security threats.
Expressing his delight at the recent developments in economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb took the opportunity to encourage large enterprises and companies from Algeria and Vietnam to promote exchanges, seek information, and take advantage of substantive cooperation opportunities in diverse fields, such as infrastructure.

Algeria also wishes to promote cooperation, exchange of experience and technology with Vietnam in fishing, environmental protection and climate change response; science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence; promote cultural cooperation, sports and people-to-people exchange. Local cooperation is also a very important component in the overall bilateral cooperation.
Assessing that during the visit, the two sides reviewed and agreed on specific measures to promote cooperation in all fields, Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb said that it is necessary for the two sides to implement the contents of the agreements reached into practical and effective actions, making the bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Algeria a model in international relations in general and in South-South cooperation in particular.
For his part, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh once again expressed his sincere thanks for the warm, respectful, cordial and affectionate welcome that the Government and people of Algeria have extended to Vietnam in general and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation in particular during their official visit to Algeria. The Prime Minister conveyed the regards and congratulations of General Secretary To Lam and senior Vietnamese leaders on the achievements Algeria has made in the past year and their support for Algeria's important orientations in the coming years, with a vision to 2035.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the two countries share very important core common values, which are mutual support and assistance to gain independence and freedom for each country. Today, it is necessary to continue promoting this heritage in the future, contributing to building each country rich, strong, civilized, prosperous, and prosperous, with the people of the two countries increasingly prosperous and happy, with each year better than the previous year, each decade better than the previous decade, and each era better than the previous era.
Expressing his full agreement with the proposals and initiatives of Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb and emphasizing some additional contents, the Prime Minister said that the two sides had a very successful meeting, comprehensively exchanged and highly agreed on the principles, directions and measures to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries, worthy of the good relationship and affection that the people of the two countries have for each other.
Accordingly, the agreement to upgrade the Vietnam-Algeria relationship to a Strategic Partnership reflects high political trust at all levels; expanding the scale and scope of cooperation in all fields, especially economic cooperation, investment, culture, science-technology, innovation, digital transformation, education-training; identifying economic cooperation as the basis for promoting the two countries' relationship to become more in-depth, substantive and effective.

"We unite and bond to create strength, promote cooperation to create benefits for the two countries, and increase exchanges of high-level and local delegations to strengthen trust and mutual understanding," said the Prime Minister.
Politically, the two leaders agreed to continue the fine tradition of friendship, constantly enhance political trust, consolidate solidarity, cohesion and support each other within the framework of multilateral and bilateral cooperation.
Regarding economics, trade and investment, realizing that the two countries have a large room for cooperation, with mutual support, the two sides are determined to consider this an important pillar, a driving force for the framework of the Strategic Partnership. In that spirit, the two sides agreed to promote negotiations on trade agreements to open markets for each side's products and step up trade promotion, diversification, and increase the exchange of key products.
The two sides also agreed to promote a favorable, transparent, fair and non-discriminatory trade and investment environment. The two sides affirmed to create favorable conditions for strategic cooperation projects, especially those in oil and gas, garment and agriculture, to be implemented effectively, stably and sustainably, creating a foundation for expanding to other potential and mutually beneficial cooperation areas.
Regarding cooperation at multilateral forums, the two sides discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern; affirmed their support for multilateralism and will continue to cooperate closely at international and regional organizations, promote the reform process of the global governance system to be fair and effective and strengthen the role of developing countries, and support Southern countries to have a greater voice and role in international relations.
The two sides supported the central role of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the African Union (AU) and agreed to contribute to promoting cooperation between countries in Asia and Africa and South-South cooperation.
Regarding other areas of cooperation, the two leaders also had in-depth discussions on promoting cooperation in new areas, in line with the strengths and development requirements of each country, such as agriculture-environment, science-technology, innovation, digital transformation, cooperation in Halal food production, culture, education-training, people-to-people exchange and local cooperation, etc.
On this occasion, the two sides agreed to continue to pay attention to and ensure security and safety, and create favorable conditions for the community and businesses to continue to make positive contributions to the good traditional relationship between the two countries. The Prime Minister once again welcomed the signing of cooperation agreements between the two sides in the fields of education and training, housing and urban areas, debt settlement, justice and previously outstanding issues that were resolved during this visit.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh asked ministries and sectors of both sides to actively implement signed agreements and orientations agreed upon by the two Prime Ministers, contributing to further promoting the Vietnam-Algeria Strategic Partnership to increasingly blossom and bear fruit.
