Launching the campaign “Ninh Hoa women turn to the sea and islands of their homeland”

On April 24, the Women's Union of Ninh Hoa town organized the launching ceremony of "Ninh Hoa Women towards the sea and islands of the homeland" in 2025 and summarized 5 years of the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" for the period 2021 - 2025.

Funding to build a shelter for women in difficult circumstances.

After 5 years of implementing the program "Accompanying women in the border areas", the Women's Union at all levels has promoted and mobilized cadres and women's union members to send 2,048 text messages (VND 20,000/text message) to support the program. At the same time, many campaigns were organized to clean up coastal areas; hand over 10 houses of Love Shelters, repair 5 houses; donate 105 means of livelihood, 26 savings books, 486 scholarships, 500 national flags, 140 life jackets, 179 gifts... with a total value of nearly VND 2.5 billion. In addition, in coordination with Ninh Phuoc and Ninh Hai Border Guard Stations, they organized the gifting of nearly 2,000 banh tet and banh chung cakes and presented 150 gifts to policy families, poor and near-poor households, and those in difficult circumstances in coastal communes and wards...

Give gifts to women in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the Women's Union of the town awarded funds to build a "Shelter of Love" worth 60 million VND, 10 means of livelihood (3 million VND/gift), 52 gifts (500,000 VND/gift) to poor, near-poor, disabled and disadvantaged women and 10 scholarships (500,000 VND/gift) to students who have overcome difficulties and studied well. The total value of the gifts is 121 million VND, from the union's budget and from donors.
