A male body was found floating on Tra Khuc River.

On the afternoon of May 9, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police, said that at around 7:00 a.m. the same day, the unit recovered a male body floating on the Tra Khuc River, below Truong Xuan Bridge (in Tinh Ha Commune, Son Tinh District, Quang Ngai).

Authorities recovered the victim's body from Tra Khuc River.

The body was discovered by local people and reported to the authorities. Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department dispatched a vehicle carrying 12 officers and soldiers, a rubber boat and specialized vehicles to the scene to retrieve and bring the victim to shore.

Afterwards, the authorities handed over the body to Tinh Ha Commune Police and the victim's family to take care of the funeral.

The victim was identified as Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam (41 years old, in Tinh An Tay commune, Quang Ngai city).

According to some locals, Mr. Tam went to Truong Xuan bridge area on the night of May 8, it is possible that Mr. Tam jumped off the bridge. The cause is currently being investigated by the authorities.
