The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the list of projects to attract investment using non-budgetary capital and the list of projects to encourage socialization in Vinh Long province, period 2024-2025 and after 2025.
The decision includes 18 projects, divided into 5 sectors, with a total investment of about 29,860 billion VND. The largest are in the urban-housing sector (6 projects), trade-services (5 projects), industry (4 projects), agriculture -rural (2 projects) and 1 project in the cultural-tourism sector.
Specifically, the projects: Investment in agricultural and food processing projects, vegetable and fruit processing and fruit products; seafood processing; livestock products; consumer goods industry, textiles, handicrafts, electronics assembly industry, packaging, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industry, mining and production of other construction materials... Warehouses, services and some other industries with low environmental pollution... in Dong Binh Industrial Park and Gilimex Vinh Long Industrial Park. Investment in Tan Binh Industrial Cluster (Binh Tan District); Thuan An Industrial Cluster (Binh Minh Town); investment in Phuoc Hau high-tech industrial park. Concentrated livestock and poultry farming project. Investment in Mang Thit brick and pottery kiln area; investment in ecological urban area, commercial services, entertainment and tourism in Con Chim. Investment project in Vinh Long administrative center urban area; investment in social housing in Ward 4 (Vinh Long City); investment in social housing in Ward 9 (Vinh Long City); Dong Thuan townhouse area investment; Hoa Phu Industrial Park social housing investment project. Vinh Long hotel construction investment project; Vinh Long market trade center investment; Ward 8 trade center investment; Binh Minh trade-service center investment; Cai Von market expansion investment.
The list of fields and projects encouraging socialization includes 2 projects: Investment in Cai Ngang Cultural, Sports and Tourism Complex and investment in Vinh Long Province's Domestic Waste Treatment Plant.
This Decision replaces Decision No. 2167/QD-UBND dated August 20, 2020 of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province.
