The interactive play "Rapunzel" will be performed during the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2025.

Inspired by the familiar fairy tale, director and Meritorious Artist Cao Ngọc Ánh, along with a young team, have adapted and breathed new life into the journey of the princess with the flowing hair. The image of the girl imprisoned in a high tower, bravely sacrificing her magical hair to share and save others, is constructed as an emotionally rich metaphor for inner strength, the desire for growth, and the yearning for love that every child possesses.

The play is inspired by the practice of donating hair to children with terminal illnesses.

At the launch event, the audience enjoyed many impressive excerpts such as: Welcoming the Sunlight, Waves of Love, Going to Return, Bubblegum Princess... and especially Miracle, a song that has spread rapidly on social media for many months. With its clear melody and emotionally rich lyrics, "The Miracle" becomes the highlight, portraying faith and sharing, the overarching message of the play.

What sets Tangled apart and makes it so appealing is its interactive theatrical format: the audience not only watches but also participates in the characters' journey, overcoming challenges together and contributing to the ending. Trendy music, modern choreography, eye-catching costumes, and vibrant stage effects help the performance resonate with both children and adults.

The play conveys a humane message: every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves to dream, share, and shine.

The creative team includes: screenwriter Kim Thùy, stage director Nhật Quang, music director Dương Minh Anh, choreographer Hiếu Nguyễn, and many professional designers.

Sharing her thoughts on the project, Meritorious Artist Cao Ngoc Anh said: “After major projects, I wanted to return to children's theater. For the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, I hope to bring children a new spiritual gift, a fairy tale told through music, dance, and modern theatrical language.”
