Pham Quang Phuc is a young and talented Vietnamese artist. He won the fourth prize in the Creative Campaign of the Vietnam - Denmark Children's Literature Support Project 2015 and the first prize in the illustration category for children's fiction books of the ASEAN Children's Illustration Competition (ICCRF 2018) in Thailand. He is also one of the illustrators for the global version of Harry Potter .

In addition to drawing, Pham Quang Phuc also has a talent for writing. The picture book The Garden in Our Hearts is a combination of two things in one. The work tells about the miracle in the human heart - the miracle of love, memory and healing. There are things that are difficult for parents to share with their children, such as when someone in the family passes away or when the child faces the first sadness in life. The Garden in Our Hearts is the book for those moments and other moments that nourish the soul.
The story begins with Rabbit's sadness when his grandfather - his dearest person - passed away forever. Thanks to the suitcase of gardening tools that his grandfather left behind, Rabbit began to take care of his grandfather's garden. Each weed, each withered flower bud and each bed of soil were like broken memories. But little by little, when Rabbit began to sow the seeds of love, the garden gradually revived and so did his heart.

The garden in the story is not just a small piece of land, but a metaphor for our own hearts: There are days when it is dry and broken, but with a little care and patience, everything will bloom again.
In this picture book, Pham Quang Phuc uses the language of color to tell a story: From bright to dark, then gentle and warm - a visual journey that fully reflects the journey of healing. Each page of the book is like a painting full of breath: Sometimes calm, sometimes agitated, but always filled with gentleness. This is a book that can be read with the eyes, the heart and the memory.
