According to the Hue City People's Committee, recent floods have caused 5 houses in Khe Tre and Loc An communes to collapse completely, and 9 houses to be severely damaged. In addition, 91 households in Khe Tre commune are in urgent need of evacuation due to the risk of landslides.
Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh said that the campaign's goal is to complete the construction of new houses before Tet so that people can celebrate the New Year in a safe and solid home. He also asked the Department of Construction to guide house models that are suitable to local customs and cultural traditions, while ensuring the "3 hard" requirements - hard foundation, hard frame, hard roof - to help people have a safe shelter when natural disasters occur.

The People's Committees of Khe Tre and Loc An communes were assigned to proactively handle land and construction procedures quickly, with the motto of "working day and night", "solving any problems", and absolutely not letting administrative procedures hinder the progress of supporting people.
The entire political system of the city was mobilized for the campaign: from the military, police, youth, women, veterans, to agencies, units, businesses... participating in supporting the construction, ensuring the project is both sustainable, economical and on schedule.

Previously, right after SGGP Newspaper published the article “Desolation by Truot Waterfall” on November 5, HCM IT Golf Club contacted to support people in the flood area through SGGP Newspaper with an amount of 100 million VND.

The newspaper's resident reporter in Hue directly gave 10 million VND to each household whose house was completely destroyed and 5 million VND to households whose houses were 50%-60% damaged in Khe Tre commune. The remaining amount was coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vy Da ward to give to poor households affected by floods in the Con Hen area.
