Khanh Hoa: Three cars collided and caught fire on the Van Phong – Nha Trang highway

In the early morning of December 6, a serious multi-vehicle accident occurred on the Van Phong – Nha Trang highway (through Nam Ninh Hoa commune, Khanh Hoa province), causing three cars to burst into flames. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

According to initial information, at around 0:00 on the same day, on the South-North expressway, three cars traveling in the same direction collided, including: passenger bus with license plate 50H-408XX driven by driver PCH (46 years old, residing in Quang Ngai province); truck with license plate 89C-203XX driven by driver CVS (35 years old, residing in Ninh Binh province); and tractor with license plate 77C-172XX pulling trailer 77R-032XX driven by driver LDH (55 years old, residing in Gia Lai province).

After the collision, all three vehicles caught fire. The passenger bus and truck were completely burned; the tractor trailer was on fire. The drivers and passengers on the passenger bus were lucky to escape in time.

The fire caused traffic congestion in the area. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Khanh Hoa Province mobilized 2 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire, while coordinating traffic control, protecting the scene and investigating the cause of the accident.
