Lam Dong: Construction of houses for people in flood-affected areas begins

On the morning of December 6, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son attended the groundbreaking ceremony for housing construction for households severely damaged by floods in D'ran commune, Lam Dong province.

During this period, 4 households in Duong Moi, Lac Thien 1 and Lam Tuyen 1 villages – the most severely affected households in the November 2025 flood – were supported to rebuild solid houses.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son sent his regards and encouraged people to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged and praised the sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers of Division 5 (Military Region 7) who coordinated to support people in repairing and rebuilding houses and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the projects directly constructed by Military Region 7 not only have practical value for people's lives but also have special significance on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Armed Forces of Military Region 7 (December 10, 1945 - December 10, 2025).

Representing the supported households, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy (Lam Tuyen 1 village) expressed his emotion and gratitude for the attention of the Party, State and forces: "This timely support will help us soon have a stable place to live, feel secure in doing business and recovering after the flood."
