Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong visited and presented gifts to exemplary policy families.

On July 23, the delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, led by Mr. Dang Minh Thong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to exemplary policy families, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

At each place he visited, comrade Dang Minh Thong expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions and noble sacrifices of war invalids, veteran revolutionary cadres, and people with meritorious services in the cause of national liberation, national defense and national construction.

The delegation visited Mrs. Truong Thi Thanh, a 4/4 class disabled veteran, who participated in the resistance war and was imprisoned by the enemy. Currently, despite her advanced age, she is still actively participating in the work of the Neighborhood Front Executive Committee, especially involved in volunteer work.

Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong kindly asked about her health and her family. At the same time, he shared that the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City always respect and are grateful for the silent but extremely great sacrifices of the ladies and gentlemen who have overcome hardships and continue to contribute to building a civilized and compassionate Ho Chi Minh City.

At the family of Mr. Huynh Phuoc Hy, a former pre-uprising cadre, comrade Dang Minh Thong expressed his respect for the veteran cadre and wished him a long life, continuing to be a shining example for his children and grandchildren to follow.

The delegation also visited Mr. Nguyen Duc Nhan, a 1/4 class disabled veteran, in difficult circumstances, his wife unfortunately has a serious illness.

Here, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong expressed his sympathy and encouragement, and affirmed that the Party, State and people always remember the merits of heroes, martyrs, war invalids and people with meritorious services to the revolution. Ho Chi Minh City will continue to implement the policy of gratitude, taking full care of the material and spiritual life of policy families.

Visiting Mr. Chau Xi (born in 1948), a 4/4 class disabled veteran, a resistance activist who was imprisoned by the enemy. Mr. Chau Xi has been involved in the local movement for many years, regularly supporting and helping those in difficult circumstances in the locality. Comrade Dang Minh Thong sent his best wishes for his health, hoping that he will always live happily and healthily, and continue to spread love to the community and society.
